Stress Management Program

About the Program

This program is designed to promote a stress-less life in order to prevent physical and emotional dis-ease. It consists of gentle stretches, breathing and relaxation techniques, healing imagery and group support. People who will benefit from this program are individuals who are experiencing: hypertension, excess weight, elevated cholesterol, sedentary lifestyle, smoking, diabetes, social isolation, depression and other stress related discomfort.

This Stress Management program is a 7-week Course which covers the following areas:

  • Stretching and yoga postures for the reduction of stress
  • Breathing and relaxation techniques for decreasing mental and emotional tension and anxiety
  • Imagery and visualization for promoting healing and relieving the negative effects of stress
  • Group discussion and peer support for lifestyle changes
